Brisbane

On our way up to Noosa we stopped in Brisbane for a few hours. Brisbane was hit the hardest by the floods in December and January but you really wouldn`t  be able to tell it was all underwater less than a month before. There was a lot of construction going on but everything else was pretty much open for business. We were only there for a short time but it was still cool to look around. We also went to an opal store, Australia has the highest amount of opal in the world, and we learned about how it is mined and saw some raw opal.
